Sezzle Payment Plan FAQ

How does our Sezzle payment plan work? 
     Sezzle splits your total purchase amount into 4 interest-free payments, spread over 6 weeks. There are NO fees if you pay on time. Take your furniture home upon approval – you do NOT have to wait until your payments are completed. Shop now, pay later. 

How do I apply for Sezzle?
       Simply add the items to your shopping cart on our webite and when you ready to checkout, choose Sezzle as your payment option. You will be redirected to the easy no credit check application. Once you are approved it will redirect you to finish checkout. Applying is so easy you can do it from your mobile device!

Does Sezzle charge interest or additional fees?
     Sezzle is completely interest-free for shoppers. No catch. We (Odds and Ends) as the merchant pay a fee for each transaction so that you can easily Shop Now and Pay Later. The only fees you could potentially incur are failed payment fees and late payment fees. If your scheduled payment fails to process, you will be charged a $10 failed payment fee. Sezzle does their best to prevent this from happening by sending you emails and text reminders! Rescheduled payments will incur a $5 late payment fee.

Will Sezzle check my credit?

       Sezzle’s extended payment option does not qualify as a credit product per Reg Z, however we still pull your credit score as part of our risk check. Don’t worry, this check won’t have a negative impact, because we’re not a credit product per Reg Z. This is considered a ‘soft check’ of credit. We use your credit information to help approve you for Sezzle, verify your identity and reduce fraud.

Does Sezzle report to Credit Bureaus?

    They will be exploring this option in the future, but currently they don’t report.

What is the application and checkout process like?
       It’s fast and easy. Simply select Sezzle as your payment method during checkout. You’ll be asked to provide some basic information about yourself. Sezzle will secure the checkout using a one-time password that is sent via SMS text to the mobile number you provide. You will then be asked to select and login to your bank as the final step in checkout. The entire process should take under 2 minutes for first time Sezzle users. Sezzle’s secure checkout takes a few seconds to complete for regular users.

When can I pick up my furniture once im approved?
     Anytime during the next available business hours! If you apply in store on your mobile phone, you can take your furniture home with you! If you apply at home, stop in anytime during our regular business hours to pick up. If you are unsure of our business hours, please send us a DM on facebook or Instagram or call/text 760-675-5845.

How do I make payments?
       Sezzle accepts Debit/Credit cards and ACH payments from connected bank accounts. Pre-paid, mail-order and payments over the phone are not accepted.


Does Sezzle take out my payments automatically? 
          It can be tough to remember all your payment dates, especially when you have a lot of orders with Sezzle! Because of this, automatic payments are set up on your Sezzle account. This means your installment is collected on the scheduled due date from your preferred payment method.

Note: Bank payments can take 1-3 business days to process, so it is important to maintain your installment amount until the payment is done processing

Can I make a payment early?
     Absolutely! Log into your account on Sezzle.com and go to your Dashboard. Click “manage order” and then “Pay Now”.

When will my first payment be taken?

         Your first payment will be taken at the time of order. However, if you are paying with your connected bank account, it can take up to 3 days to process.

What happens if I can’t make my payment?
       Sezzle is committed to financially empowering you! Sezzle wants to help keep you on track, as Sezzle doesn’t like to chase you for a missed payment. Because of this, Sezzle likes to send lots of payment reminders, and also is why they assess repayment before they approve you for a purchase.

What happens if I miss a payment? 
        If you don’t pay, you’ll receive reminders from Sezzle, and you will be charged a late fee of $10. We encourage you to make your payments on time because missed payments can have a negative impact on your limits with Sezzle and ability to use Sezzle in the future.

Can I reschedule my payment date?
            Yes. In your reminder email, they allow you to reschedule payments. Rescheduling a payment will incur a $5 reschedule fee. Rescheduling a payment is limited to a date within the next 13 days. In order to guarantee your ability to reschedule your payment, you must reschedule your payment on the day prior to the payment date. The ability to reschedule your payment on the due date cannot be guaranteed due to variable processing times.
